Your swing is only as strong as the body behind it. When your body moves well, your game feels smoother, stronger, and more consistent. When it doesn't, you feel it directly in your mobility, rotation, balance, and control.
That's why Bench Craft Golf partnered with PT of The City, one of the top-rated PT NYC clinics, to create an elite golf performance experience designed specifically for athletes and active individuals—not generic rehab.
Knowledge is power. Learn how this common golf injury develops,
the symptoms to watch for, and when to seek professional care.
Repetitive motion, intense rotational force, and overuse stress can lead to micro-tears in the tendons. Elite players look out for these subtle symptoms to address limitations before they ruin a scorecard:
Localized on the inner side of your elbow, which may extend down the inner side of your forearm.
Noticeable joint stiffness in the elbow, difficulty making a firm fist, or weakness in your hands and wrists.
Numbness or tingling that radiates down into your ring and little fingers.
Golfer's elbow, medically known as medial epicondylitis, is a condition that causes pain and inflammation on the inner side of the elbow. This specific area is where the tendons of your forearm muscles attach to the bony bump (the medial epicondyle) on the inside of your elbow. Despite its name, you do not have to play golf to develop this condition—it is a type of tendinitis caused by cumulative damage to the muscles and tendons that control your wrist and fingers.

We don't just help golfers recover—we help athletes move better, perform stronger, and stay active longer. "Post-rotator cuff surgery, I needed the right team. PT of the City’s Brooklyn clinic was a 10-minute drive from my home course. The Bench Craft discount made it easy to commit to the full recovery plan."
"The insurance verification was seamless — they handled everything and I paid almost nothing out of pocket. The therapist at Astoria was exceptional. Already back to par."
